TCF health monitoring chart at one of the health posts
Tulsi Chanrai Foundation (TCF) team from Abuja Headquarter visited Kachia, local government area in Kaduna state in December 2012 to assess the impact of health services being provided in 14 health facilities.
TCF team met the health attendants, CHEWs (Community Health Extension Workers), other project staff and beneficiaries to find out effectiveness of the services.
Expert advice was given to the health attendants and CHEWs. Feedback was taken from them.
Overall assessment of the TCF team was that a lot of women and children are benefiting from the program. Without the TCF Primary Health Program it would have had been difficult for the people to access primary health care in remote areas.
TCF will review the data collected from the ground and will take up measures to further enhance the effectiveness of the Primary Health Care program in Kachia, Kaduna.
